June 26
Today was our last free day before we start teaching on Monday. We are all excited, and a little anxious, to get going and start teaching. We got to meet some of the students on Friday, and they seem very eager to learn. A couple of students could not be admitted because we are already filled to capacity. That was difficult to watch, as the students started to cry, along with their parents as well. It made me think about how for some of these students, getting an education is the only way they will escape poverty.

RAIN! It would rain like this about 3 times a day for the last 5 days. It flooded the area, but luckily our house is on a hill

Aw, I saw the picture of you guys and just smiled so big. Sounds like you're all having an awesome experience and will have some hilarious stories to tell when you get back! Don't let the giant moths scare the girls too much!
